The role
As a Junior Demand & Supply Planner, you will focus on the essential tasks of demand and supply planning. You will work closely with the coordinators who are responsible for the operational supply planning tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the tactical and strategical planning, ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of forecasts. Your work will contribute to the sustainability and growth of the organization. You will support the team in various projects, learn from experienced colleagues, and gradually take on more responsibilities. Your role includes maintaining the demand forecast, supporting new product launches, and working closely with different departments to optimize the supply chain.
Responsibilities
Demand Planning:
- Maintain the 12-month forecast to increase accuracy and planning precision.
- Analyze trends to improve Forecast Accuracy and make data-driven adjustments.
- Manage data within a forecasting tool to increase baseline forecast accuracy.
- Collaborate with R&D and Category Management on forecast data for New Product Introductions (NPI) and ensure proper alignment with demand plans.
- Support sales teams to ensure and improve demand planning input and accuracy.
- Work with various international stakeholders to align total demand issues in international markets.
- Identify risks and opportunities, translating this data into insightful information during Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.
Supply Planning:
- Generate a weekly supply plan based on forecast inputs, in coordination with demand planning.
- Collaborate with the global procurement team to ensure optimal order quantities and delivery conditions.
- Identify potential supply issues and communicate with the business.
- Ensure optimal product availability in all three warehouses with cost efficiency in mind.
- Manage (safety) stock levels, considering the product life cycle and demand planning.

Your profile
- Bachelor/Master in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or similar.
- Some work experience in Supply Chain or Demand Planning.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Proactive, able to make independent decisions and lead initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English. (Dutch is a plus)
- Ability to explain complex data simply and effectively to senior management.
- Familiar with working with large datasets and automating tasks.
- Experience with Python is a plus, willingness to learn is essential.
