The function
Als Demand & Supply Planner ben je gepassioneerd over het optimaliseren van demand en supply planning processen en draag je graag bij aan een duurzamere toekomst. Je verantwoordelijkheid gaat veel verder dan alleen het plannen. Je krijgt namelijk een cruciale rol in het verbeteren van het demand and supply planning processen. Jij hebt een belangrijke bijdrage in het succes, de verduurzamingd en de groei van de organisatie. Binnen het team van demand planners ga jij actief bijdragen aan projecten zoals proces improvements, verduurzaming en machine learning initiatieven. Het team heeft al een data-driven aanpak, en is klaar voor de volgende stap. Die volgende stap zit hem onder anderen in Power BI en Python, Excel wordt steeds verder achtergelaten. ben jij onder anderen verantwoordelijk voor het verbeteren van de efficiency van de de demand en supply planning processen. Het verbeteren van de forecast-nauwkeurigheid, en het ondersteunen van new product launches. Je werkt nauw samen met verschillende afdelingen om de supply chain te optimaliseren en bij te dragen aan onze duurzaamheidsdoelstellingen.
Responsibilities
- Demand Planning:
- Maintain the 12-month forecast to increase accuracy and planning precision.
- Analyze trends to improve Forecast Accuracy and make data-driven adjustments.
- Manage the data within a forecasting tool to increase basic forecast accuracy.
- Work with R&D and Category Management on the forecast data for New Product Introductions (NPI) and ensure good coordination with the demand plans.
- Support sales teams to ensure and improve demand planning input and accuracy.
- Work together with various international stakeholders to coordinate the total demand issues in the international markets.
- Identify risks and opportunities, and translate this data into insightful information during Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings
- Supply Planning
- Generate a weekly supply plan based on forecast inputs, in coordination with demand planning.
- Collaborate with the global procurement team to guarantee optimal order quantities and delivery conditions, taking into account the complex production processes.
- Identifying possible problems in supply and addressing them with the business.
- Ensure optimal product availability in all three warehouses with cost efficiency in mind.
- Manage the (safety) stock levels, taking into account the product life cycle and demand planning.
- Projects
- Contribute to data-driven developments by actively participating in the automation of manual tasks and reporting processes.
- Enhance Power BI dashboards to provide better visibility into risks, which better enables data-driven decision making.
- Improve the current phase-in/phase-out management plan, with a focus on safety stock and forecasting accuracy.
- Improvements in the forecasting processes for New Product Introductions (NPI).

Your profile
- Bachelor/Master in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or similar.
- Demonstrable work experience in Supply or Demand Planning
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Make proactive, independent decisions and lead initiatives.
- Experience in project management
- Problem solving skills
- Collaborative and results-driven attitude, real team player.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written English. (Dutch is a plus)
- Ability to explain complex data to senior management simply and effectively.
- Advanced in Excel and PowerPoint.
- The desire to learn how to build dashboards in Power BI.
- Familiar with working with large data sets and automating tasks.
- Experience with Python would be a plus, willingness to learn is also a plus.
